"And None Are Forbidden"

Sometimes, I wonder...why is it so much easier to read Isaiah in Spanish than my textbook?

But I digress. In fact I'm always digressing...this time, I'm digressing before I've even started which is definitely saying something.

Basically I haven't blogged in a long time. The last blog I had was actually the blog my parents posted my weekly letters on. That counts, right? If you'd like to take a look at that, it is kaelainquito.blogspot.com

The blog I had before that was how I channeled all of my sarcastic thoughts throughout high school and I will not be posting that link because I want to keep this blog relatively holy and full of goodness and not that my other blog wasn't buuuut if you ever stumble upon it just check out "Satan's Playlist" and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Bringing it back, the reason I started this blog was because I went on a mission to Quito Ecuador. And I loved sharing my testimony every day. And then I came home, in fact, I came home a lot sooner than I had hoped. Yet, I still wanted missionary work to be a regular part of my life. Well that was 7 months ago, and I'm not in any sort of official mission thing like I had hoped, and for a while that bothered me and then I decided to take matters into my own hands and do missionary work by blogging.

Because that is totally a thing.

And now, after that long introduction, onto the point of today's post (also, just saying, we'll be lucky to see a post once a week. I'm taking way too many credits this semester).

There is a chapter in the Book of Mormon that is found in the 2nd book of Nephi. It is chapter 26. And when you look at the chapter heading there is nothing hinting at the beautiful verses found within that talk all about Christ's love. In fact you are just reading along and then you hit about to verse 23 and the next 10 verses you are blown away by the powerful description of Christ's love for us.

Here are a few of my favorite lines, and here is a link to the whole chapter.

"He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world."

"Buy milk and honey, without money and without price."
(Okay so I just love milk like a whole lot)
"The Lord God hath given a commandment that all men should have charity, which charity is love."
I love those. Especially the milk one. I have found that there is a lot of power behind one line, or even one word within a verse. That's how I felt about these. But there are also a lot of questions found within these verses:
"Behold, doth he cry unto any, saying: Depart from me?"

"Behold, hath he commanded any that they should depart out of the synagogues, or out of the houses of worship?" i.e. Does he want us to go to church? Yes!!

"Behold, hath the Lord commanded any that they should not partake of his goodness?"

Here is the answer to all of them:
Behold I say unto you, Nay; but all men are privileged the one like unto the other, and none are forbidden.
Christ is always, always inviting us to partake of his goodness, every single one of us!! That is incredible. His love for us is unconditional. Whenever you question His love for you, just read through these verses.

"And he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God."
